Anaheim Free Methodist Church Anaheim, CAThe Anaheim Free Methodist Church is currently located in a 1960’s “A” frame-type structure. The Church needs room to grow and re-imagine the facility for modern worship and study. Lewis/Schoeplein architects expanded and reconfigured the worship space to allow for a more intimate service for a greater number of worshipers. Natural light is brought into the once-dark space in surprising ways, yet controlled for media presentations. Congregation access from parking is defined and
celebrated.
A new structure will define exterior spaces that enhance the before and after-service gatherings, and foster community throughout the week. The new structure contains a toddler and pre-K classroom suite, and administrative offices. Existing buildings are reconfigured to accommodate a growing older child and adult education curriculum.
