The client is a not-for-profit organization working for the rights of women worldwide. The project, an interior and exterior remodel of a 1950s masonry building, creates a new home for the Feminist Majority, and a center for the feminist community at large. Beyond the daily functions of the Foundation, the building houses lecture series, press conferences, art openings, and the new offices for Ms. magazine.

The program includes a flexible conference/presentation room with seating for up to 108 people, open office areas, administrative offices, library, and media center, as well as several informal gathering areas.
