Film Independent

Film Independent is a non-profit representing independent filmmakers, with over 6,000 members in Los Angeles. Film Independent’s office environment reflects its “community of artists who embody diversity, innovation, and uniqueness of vision.”

The office has both a public component (a multi-media library, viewing rooms, editing facility, casting rooms and a large screening/meeting room), and a collaborative working environment for its staff of 35. The public spaces are organized around a gallery space that captures a remarkable view; the open work spaces also ensure that the staff, regardless of position, enjoy a view and connection to the organization. Common areas and functional spaces are strategically located to become meeting spots for casual workplace interaction, at the heart of this creative environment.
