The Broad Museum:
Event Support Spaces

The Broad, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with Gensler, was considering ways to increase access to outdoor concerts, exhibitions and lectures throughout the year. Lewis|Schoeplein was asked to analyze the anticipated event demands, circulation patterns, and existing construction to propose event-related support facilities to be located within the existing Broad Museum parking structure. Upgrades include exterior walkways and fencing, storage and mechanical areas, fire and life safety, parking, gender-neutral restrooms, and security.
